This is an interesting photo, one I haven't seen circulating elsewhere. The photo was taken in 1913 and the caption is as follows: Five generations, of the members of which were born in Tasmania. From left to right: Master Horton Plapp (son of Mrs C Plapp); Mrs Plapp (wife of C Plapp of Federal Glen at Riana); Mrs Bacon (widow of Charles B Bacon of Ross); Mrs Hudson (wife of Edward Hudson of Trevance at Penguin; and Mrs Warner (widow of W E Warner, council clerk at Ross for many years and daughter of Hugh McGuiness of Pittwater at Lower Carlton). I am curious to know how they relate to one another and whether there is a connection to Johann Christian Plapp, a native of Kirchberg in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, who sailed out from Liverpool in 1855 on the emigrant ship Startled Fawn.

Do you have any information with regards to Horton College or photos of students/staff at the college. I am researching the Bacon family, particularly Albert and Charles and the connection with Horton College.
