21 May 1908 Insert 4 Captain A J Lloyd of the missing steamer, Orion. The cargo steamer left Stanley for Melbourne with about 15 passengers. Among the passengers were Mr Tait as mate and Mr Bulman as chief engineer, with a crew of about 11 all told. They were never found. Captain A J Lloyd was a great favourite with the band members of the Federal Band of Burnie. |
