30 November 1916 Insert 2 Lois Craw, aged 11, a young Burnie violinist and pianist, who gained honours (82 marks) for violin playing in the Intermediate Division, Trinity College, London, Examinations. She also passed the Junior Piano examination gaining honours and the medal. At the Latrobe Competition she took first prizes for Violin Solo Under 16 and Piano Solo Under 12. |
